Max, a Nuffield prize winning physicist, was lured from a career in investment banking by the technological revolution reshaping Fleet Street in the early 90s. After working in the core team that transformed Associated Newspapers, Max went on to found a new breed of specialist publishing integration company. Automatrix was the first integrator for the Quark Publishing System and together with other carefully selected solutions, Automatrix grew over 10 years to a plc with global financial institutions as well as publishers in its customer portfolio.
