Lineup strengthens through continuing growth

Lineup Systems, today announced growth figures for last year, as well as new customer deployments and delivery partnerships.

Michael Mendoza, CEO of Lineup stated “In the past few months we have put in place some key elements to support our growth. We have further strengthened our team with a number of experienced new staff in sales, strategy, finance, business analysis, deployment and marketing many of whom joined us from senior positions at competitors. We have extended our global reach in Scandinavia, Benelux, Australia, USA and Eastern Europe and have created new partnerships to ensure support for local language and business practices.”

In the last financial year Lineup reports that revenue grew by over 35%, but Mendoza commented “we anticipate further rapid growth, as we are seeing increased demand for our product. Very recently AdPoint has been implemented at customers in the UK, the USA, Abu Dhabi, Guatemala, Peru and Colombia.

Early in 2012, Lineup announced it took substantial (seven figure) development capital from NVM Private Equity (NVM). This is being invested in the capacity to deliver for and support multiple major new clients, as well as to ensure that the long term AdPoint development plan was secured.

To extend their global footprint Lineup has put in place offices, employees and partners to help service customers in several key markets, including Scandinavia, Australia, USA, Benelux and Eastern Europe. “We look for the same core values in our partners as in our employees – industry experience! We work with people who can deliver high quality engagements for customers.”

In April 2012 Lineup announced a partnership with Gothia AB who will be an independent system integrator for the Nordics area. Gothia work with many of the major publishers in the region and have recently hired additional experienced staff to work on AdPoint projects.

Mirek Kowalski has been appointed as a consultant for Lineup in Eastern Europe. Mirek has worked at many of the major media companies in Poland and the Czech Republic, including Polskapresse, Mecom Group, FUTUROOM and Ringier Axel Springer.

Mike Coghlan has been appointed as Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Mike started life working in newspapers, and has spent many years working for major solution vendors in Asia Pacific, including Atex, Geac (Cybergraphics) and Nokia Siemens.

Among new Lineup staff joining in the last few months are Stuart Rogers as CFO, who was previously Finance Director EMEA at Aquantive Corporation, Pat Venn, former sales director at Atex, Nita Watkins who joined from News International and most recently David Hall, former CEO EMEA at Atex. Hall commented “I was able to turn down other offers as joining Lineup was a simple decision. It is the vendor with the most potential in the industry, and I believe will become one of the very strongest.”

Lineup staff now number 33, and with partners included this number rises to over 60. Lineup has recently enjoyed wide interest in their product. “We are delighted with the reception that our product has received in recent weeks, and we are now planning new projects in the USA, Sweden and UK among others. We are determined to deliver long term value for our customers.”

Lineup headquarters are in central London at 251 Tottenham Court Road which Lineup share with long term client Time Out.
